They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. — Isaiah 11:9 KJV
They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. — Isaiah 11:9 NIV
Reflection
What a lovely and blessed time this has been! We will have a direct relationship with God. However, this won’t just be us singing a song of delight; rather, the huge chorus of God’s followers will do so as well since they have a relationship with Him. Let us look forward to that day and unite our hearts in the pursuit of God in preparation for it. We shouldn’t be satisfied with only having factual information about God; rather, we should strive to get to know him on a deeper level by participating in his work, modeling our behavior after his, and looking for evidence of his presence in our daily lives.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, please be close to me today. Thank you. No matter what happens today, it is imperative that I am conscious of your presence. I want you to be my eternal Shepherd who watches out for his sheep and the one whom I know as my Redeemer, Savior, and Friend. I want you to be my eternal Shepherd who watches out for his flock. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
